Barb's Saturday Post - Polyshrink Snowmen

Hello Everyone! Barb here with another Saturday post.

For today's crafty bit, I'm sharing a couple of quick and easy snowman ornaments I made. I simply printed out images from Fitztown's Winter Collection No. 1 on polyshrink, colored them in, shrunk them down, and added the loop for hanging.

I promise you, I was done in fifteen minutes! So easy to do.

To find out more about these, please visit my blog at In The Studio With Barb.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

See you next year!

GUEST DESIGNER
My name is Natalie, I'm from Germany and I'm a teacher. After school I studied art history, so art has been a part of my life for a very long time. I teach third grade this year and I love doing arts and crafts with "my" kids and on my own. I started cardmaking a while ago and I got addicted very fast. I love trying new things and techniques and while some may think that I haven't found my style yet, I would say I don't want to stick to just one style.

Fitztown - Garden No. 62 - Cardinal

Hey, hey, hey everyone!
Another fun image from Fitztown!

This project is actually an ATC (artist trading card).  I backed the card with chipboard, used Distress Ink, Salty Ocean for the sky and on the bottom I used a generous amount of Rock Candy Crackle.
I then colored my cardinal image using the following Copic Pens:
E02, E13, E31, E51, E79, C3, R00, R08, R14, R20, R29, G02, G14, Y02, Y11, Y17, YG11 Multi-Liner 0.3
Afte the coloring, I then used Glossy Accent on the entire image.

Liquid Applique and a heat tool created the puffy snow.  You can see up close how nice the Rock Candy crackles and the Liquid Applique.

Have a great time everyone and enjoy Life!

Challenge No. 64 - Red/Green Using Color Challenge Digital Elements

Welcome fellow bloggers! Ema here to show you what the Team and I have created with this week's challenge using red and green colors! It's December and a red and green theme would certainly help you get started on your Christmas cards if you haven't done so yet but it doesn't have to be Christmas themed. This is a color challenge. We'd love to have you join in on the fun!
I'd also like to announce that we will be taking a Christmas break after the December 15th challenge. That will be our final challenge for 2014. We will be back on January 5th with a new format and we will announce the winners for the three final 2014 challenges at that time so be sure to check back with us after the new year if you're looking to see if you've won or made TOP 3!

Barb's Saturday Post - It's Holiday Time!

I hope all of my USA friends had a lovely Thanksgiving! And here's to everyone for a beautiful holiday season!!

I've been eyeballs deep in Christmas cards for the past couple of months. It's the best time of year to be a cardmaker, right? Right!

For this one I used Fitztown's candle image. I love this image for its simplicity - that makes it so versatile! A little color, a little glitter and the holidays are set a-glow.

To find out just how I made this card and to see some of my other projects, please join me on my blog at In the Studio with Barb.

Thanks and I hope your holiday season is filled with lots of fun craft projects!

Hi! fellow crafters, Judy here with Challenge 63.  The challenge is a Pink and Silver Christmas.  Lots of ideas came to my head with this theme. I can not wait to see what our talented participants come up with this week.

But before we get to the challenge, we've changed the format for the blog a bit. Ema made the official announcement a week ago and you can read all about it here
So for now,  it's time to announce the winner of Challenge #60 - Romance and Love hosted by Team A a couple of weeks ago.
Tammy A
is our lucky winner this week!
